Boiler power flush in Bath and Radstock
Cold-topped radiators, kettling noises, and murky water when you bleed a rad are all the same thing: iron oxide sludge in the system. A proper power flush shifts it — a top-up bottle of inhibitor won't.
For: Homeowners with cold spots and sludge symptoms

The difference between a chemical flush and a power flush
A chemical flush circulates cleaner in the existing system for a few hours. A power flush uses a dedicated high-flow pump with magnetic filtration on each radiator, one at a time. It's the difference between rinsing a mug and scrubbing it.
What the power flush includes
- Isolate boiler, connect flush pump and magnetic filter
- Each radiator individually reverse-flushed
- Inhibitor dosed and system re-pressurised
- Permanent inline magnetic filter fitted as standard
- Before/after water sample photos in your report
Frequently asked
- Do I really need one?
- If your bleed water is dark or the top of your radiators stay cold, yes. If the water is clean and the rads are even, no — a filter alone is enough.
- Will it damage old pipework?
- Only if the pipework is already close to failing. On very old microbore we sometimes recommend targeted replacement instead — we'll flag it before starting.
- How long does it take?
- A full day for a 3-bed. Big houses with lots of radiators can run into a day and a half.
