- Do I need to change the boiler too?
- Not necessarily. System and regular boilers work with a new cylinder as-is. Combi boilers don't use a cylinder.
- How long does it last?
- 20-plus years for a stainless unvented. Copper cylinders often only manage 12–15 years before efficiency drops.
- Is a heat-pump upgrade harder later?
- Not if we size the cylinder for lower flow temperatures now. We ask about future plans at survey.
