A second opinion on your boiler quote
A large share of our installation work starts as a second quote. Not because we're always cheapest, but because people want to know whether what they've been offered is the right specification for the house.

What we look at in someone else's quote
Is the kW output sized on heat loss or on the old boiler? Does the price include a system cleanse, filter and inhibitor? Are controls specified to meet Boiler Plus? Is the guarantee the manufacturer's full term, and who registers it? Those four questions expose most of the difference between quotes that look similar on price.
What you'll get from us
- Plain-English view on whether the specification suits the property
- Our own fixed written price for comparison, with everything itemised
- Clear note of anything commonly excluded that will cost you later
- No pressure and no follow-up chasing if you go elsewhere
Frequently asked
- Do you charge for a second opinion?
- No. The site visit and written quote are free with no obligation.
- Will you criticise another firm?
- We'll comment on the specification, not the company. If their quote is good, we'll say so.
- How quickly can you visit?
- Usually within the week across BA1–BA5, BS39 and BS40.
