What's different technically
Distribution losses over long buried runs are material and need proper insulation and, ideally, pre-insulated pipe. Bulk oil storage often serves both a house and a secondary building, which affects tank sizing, filtration and the fire valve arrangement. Water quality from private supplies also matters — it affects cylinder and heat exchanger life.
