What we check first with an Ideal F1 lockout

Refill via the filling loop with the boiler off, watch the gauge reach the manufacturer's cold figure, then close both valves. If you are doing that more often than twice a year, the expansion vessel, relief valve and pipework need testing. On Ideal Logic models the internal vessel is accessible and can normally be recharged rather than replaced.
