New build

New-build boiler first-fix and commissioning in Somerset

On a new build the boiler is the last visible thing, but the first thing to lock in on paper. Heat-loss calcs, radiator schedules and zoning decisions need to be made before plasterboard, not after.

Boiler and pipework at first-fix stage inside a new-build Somerset home

How we slot into your programme

We come in twice: first-fix during joinery and second-fix after plaster. Commissioning happens with a signed-off Building Regs L1a package that saves you scrambling at completion.

Included in the new-build package

  • SAP-aligned heat-loss and emitter schedule
  • First-fix pipework to slab and rads
  • Second-fix boiler, controls and cylinder
  • Full commissioning with flue-gas and pressure records
  • Part L1a documentation for handover

Frequently asked

Do you work to the builder's schedule?
Yes — we set milestones with the site manager and hit them. Late trades cost everyone money; we don't do that.
Can we integrate solar thermal or PV diverter?
Yes — cylinders and controls are sized to allow either. Tell us at design stage.
Who signs off Building Regs?
We provide the L1a-compliant certificate. Your Building Control officer accepts it as evidence for the heat and hot-water system.
